Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

If you are like me, then you LOVEEEEEE to have dinner already made for you when you get home from work! The slow cooker is a perfect household item for most days of the week! I love being able to put basically our whole dinner in one pot and have it cook away while I’m working; when I get home from work and the gym, the last thing I really want to do is spend another hour cooking and cleaning the kitchen. With the slow cooker, I get home, take a shower and boom…dinner is done and ready to serve!

With this simple three ingredient recipe, I was expecting to have a ton of leftovers, but having to feed five hungry people didn’t leave any leftovers at all!

Ingredients :

  • 1 can root beer
  • 1 bottle BBQ sauce
  • 2 – 3 lbs pork tenderloin

Directions :

  1. In a slow cooker, pour BBQ sauce and can of root beer over pork tenderloin
  2. Cook on low for 6 – 8 hrs
  3. Carefully shred pork in pot and drain excess liquid
  4. Serve 🙃
